Catarman is in the heart of the province and it is bounded on the East by Mondragon, on the West by Bobon, on the South by Lope de Vega and on the North by Philippine Sea. The municipality is located to a geographical coordinates of 124^o38’00” East Longitude and 12^o30’30” North Latitude.
