Barangay Cawayan a committed officials and responsible people, working together with the promotion of education with a governance to develop for a progressive barangay for their future.

 

MISSION

For effective and transparent delivery of good service through the implementation of various program projects geared towards the improvements ways of life to the people in our barangay.

Barangay Cawayan is an adjacent barangay of the University of Eastern Philippines and the town proper of Catarman, Northern Samar. Actually, the bishop of the Diocese of Catarman resides in this barangay.

The barangay residents enjoy the sea breeze and rich marine sanctuary as it is surrounded by a vest sea water resources.

The barangay officials spearheads by the Punong Barangay, Hon. Nelson G. Omanito had established linkages with the government and non-government offices with technical expertise related to the marine life and fishery such as the Municipal Agriculture Office.
